| 00:00:00 | I haven't done anything wrong
for you.
| 00:00:03 | You and her both know who
molested you.
| 00:00:05 | That's why you keep coming up
with.
| 00:00:08 | >> This is one of the toughest
stories I've come across.
| 00:00:12 | Did you ever -- have you
witnessed anyone else
sexually -- do you want me to
read these results to your
mother?
| 00:00:23 | >> Yeah.
| 00:00:24 | >> Steve: Welcome to the show.
| 00:00:25 | My first guess is tyanna.
| 00:00:28 | You called the show, why?
| 00:00:29 | >> Yes.
| 00:00:30 | I called the show because back
in 1993, I was convicted of
molesting my daughter.
| 00:00:37 | She was 3 at the time and ended
up spending five years in
prison.
| 00:00:42 | As a result, I ended up getting
my conviction overturned.
| 00:00:46 | >> Steve: Wait a second.
| 00:00:47 | You were convicted of molesting
your daughter.
| 00:00:52 | >> Yes.
| 00:00:53 | >> Steve: You did five years in
jail?
| 00:00:55 | >> Yes.
| 00:00:55 | >> Steve: Did you molest your
daughter?
| 00:00:58 | >> No.
| 00:00:58 | As a result.
| 00:00:59 | What had happened, a family
member who was caring for my
daughter at the time had custody
of her, she did not want me t
be in my daughter's life.
| 00:01:08 | That's how --
>> Steve: Why didn't she want
you in your daughter's life?
| 00:01:13 | >> For one she couldn't have no
kids of her own.
| 00:01:16 | It was more or less like she
wanted her all for herself.
| 00:01:19 | And if I really wasn't going to
be in her life, so to speak, she
felt like I didn't need to be in
her life, go ahead and take care
of yourself.
| 00:01:30 | >> Steve: How did you end up
being convicted and going to
jail for five years?
| 00:01:35 | >> I was going through a custody
hearing.
| 00:01:38 | I walked through the courtroom,
my aunt and several other people
that were there in the
courtroom, were standing around,
and my attorney, she went over
to my aunt, and the other women
that were standing over there
along the side during the
custody hearing, and asked them,
who are you.
| 00:01:57 | They gave their names.
| 00:01:59 | It was a detective.
| 00:02:03 | From child protective services,
and it was a social service
worker.
| 00:02:08 | She told my lawyer, we have
allegations to say that you
sexually molested your own
daughter.
| 00:02:14 | Now, how that allegation came
about was, on a weekend visit, i
had my daughter for the weekend.
| 00:02:24 | It was a girl, I was to loose my
daughter, me, another family
member at the home with us.
| 00:02:30 | Which was my [ bleep ].
| 00:02:31 | During bath time, yolanda
complained her coo coo was
hurting.
| 00:02:44 | I said what's wrong with it, she
said I don't know.
| 00:02:48 | I said you don't know she said
no, I don't know.
| 00:02:50 | I looked at her, examed her,
thinking maybe I will see
something physically with the
eye, to why she's complaining.
| 00:02:59 | So she never did -- nothing was
there.
| 00:03:01 | When I took her home that
sunday, my aunt ended up, two
days later, taking yolanda to
the hospital.
| 00:03:11 | As a result, of her taking her
to the hospital, is when the
sexual abuse allegations came
up.
| 00:03:21 | Okay.
| 00:03:21 | Like I said, now back to the
court hearing, I didn't find out
about it until I actually went
to my custody hearing that the
allegations of sexual abuse was
there.
| 00:03:32 | In my presence, so distraught,
didn't understand what was going
on, I'm trying to figure out
what now.
| 00:03:41 | You find out the allegations, so
you -- assuming you were
arrested, right?
| 00:03:49 | >> Yes, yes.
| 00:03:50 | >> Steve: You had, what, a jury
trial?
| 00:03:52 | >> No, I ended up getting home
incarceration.
| 00:03:55 | They put me on home
incarceration until they figured
out when they wanted to start
the trial.
| 00:04:00 | I waved my rights by jury, and
had --
>> Steve: The judge?
| 00:04:05 | >> Yes.
| 00:04:05 | >> Steve: And he found you
guilty?
| 00:04:07 | >> Yes.
| 00:04:08 | >> Steve: He found me guilty on
the testimony of the 3-year-old
and testimony of my aunt saying
that I sexually abused her.
| 00:04:16 | >> Steve: And this judge
sentenced you to five years --
>> no, he sentenced me to 10 to
25 years.
| 00:04:22 | >> Steve: After five years you
were able to get out of prison?
| 00:04:26 | >> Luckily, by the grace of god,
the university of akron, law
professor.
| 00:04:32 | And seven of his students won my
case for me.
| 00:04:35 | >> Steve: And it was overturned?
| 00:04:37 | >> Yes, my conviction was
overturned after five years.
| 00:04:42 | >> Steve: Okay.
| 00:04:48 | [ Applause ]
>> Steve: And this isn't part of
the story, but I just want to
ask you about it, because I'm
always curious about it, being
in prison, that experience for
you was --
>> it was hell.
| 00:04:59 | Why?
| 00:04:59 | Because for one, being there,
accused of molesting your child,
people are very harsh when it
comes to molesting children, i
because that's
a horrible thing to do for a
child, especially your own
child.
| 00:05:20 | For them to accuse me and have
to save my life, being in
prison, just to prove my
innocence, has hurt me
tremendously throughout my life
as a result of this, as I said,
I called your show, because you
had that on there.
| 00:05:45 | If you want to prove your
innocence, speak now.
| 00:05:48 | I am hered to to show my
innocence.
| 00:05:51 | I am here today.
| 00:05:57 | You got a lot of nerve coming in
here and trying to make these
people feel you're the victim
when the only victim was
yolanda.
| 00:06:07 | >> Steve: Do you think your
daughter was abused by somebody.
| 00:06:10 | >> My thing is, who
>> Steve: Did you witness
anybody sexually abuse your
daughter?
| 00:06:15 | You want me to read these
results to your mother?
| 00:06:18 | >> Yes.
| 00:06:20 | >> Steve: Tomorrow -- did you
have a baby?
| 00:06:23 | >> Yes, I did.
| 00:06:24 | >> Could you tell me which
hospital it was at?
| 00:06:26 | >> I contacted him the day it
was born.
| 00:06:29 | >> She told me the baby was
dead.
| 00:06:31 | >> Have you ever seen the baby?
| 00:06:33 | >> No.
| 00:06:34 | Why haven't you seen the baby?
| 00:06:35 | >> Because the baby was
kidnapped.
| 00:06:39 | >> Steve: Did you see a picture?
| 00:06:42 | >> I didn't have a picture.
| 00:06:44 | >> Steve: You should need lie
detector defendant to tell a man
he had a son or not.
| 00:09:40 | >> Steve: If you're going to be
in the tristate area and would
like to order your tickets call
1-877-874-steve.
| 00:09:52 | Do you believe that your
daughter was abused by somebody?
| 00:09:55 | >> Truly, yes, I do.
| 00:10:00 | But my thing is, who?
| 00:10:03 | Is it marsha or another family
member in the home.
| 00:10:07 | >> Steve: How long have you been
out of prison?
| 00:10:09 | >> Now, it's been 12 years.
| 00:10:12 | >> Steve: 12 Years?
| 00:10:13 | >> Yes.
| 00:10:16 | >> And how is your relationship
with your daughter now in.
| 00:10:22 | >> We don't have a relationship.
| 00:10:30 | I tried.
| 00:10:31 | Every time I tried, I keep
getting the door shut in my
face.
| 00:10:46 | In 1985 marsha gave her rights.
| 00:10:50 | At that time she was 16 years
old.
| 00:10:52 | She asked me to take her in and
I accepted her in my life.
| 00:10:56 | >> Steve: She went to court an
testified against you.
| 00:10:58 | And now the child is 16 years
old.
| 00:11:00 | She's turning over the child to
somebody that she went to court
and testified was a child
molester.
| 00:11:07 | >> Yes.
| 00:11:08 | >> Steve: It doesn't make sense
to me.
| 00:11:09 | Why would you then turn her over
to the person you accused of
molesting this child?
| 00:11:17 | [ Applause ]
>> that's what I want to know
today, steve.
| 00:11:21 | >> Steve: You say your daughter
testified against you at the
trial.
| 00:11:24 | But she was 3 years old.
| 00:11:26 | >> Right.
| 00:11:26 | >> Steve: What was your -- your
conviction was overturned and
thrown out.
| 00:11:30 | What was it thrown out on, what
grounds?
| 00:11:33 | >> No evidence, but my aunt's
testimony.
| 00:11:37 | And a 3-year-old child's
testimony.
| 00:11:40 | >> Steve: You're probably the
most passionate person I've ever
had on my show, and I can really
feel, you've been really hurt by
this.
| 00:11:49 | You're hear today because --
>> I want to know the truth.
| 00:11:52 | I want to know the truth.
| 00:11:55 | Can justice be served?
| 00:11:57 | If I'm out here with you all,
even you, steve, if I'm out here
with you, and I have been
sentenced to 10 to 25 years and
the ohio supreme court
overturned my conviction, who
molested my child.
| 00:12:12 | >> Steve: And you do have any
idea.
| 00:12:14 | Do you have a thought who might
have done this to your daughter?
| 00:12:17 | >> Yes.
| 00:12:18 | >> Steve: And who would that be?
| 00:12:19 | >> A family member.
| 00:12:22 | >> Steve: And her name is --
>> it's a guy.
| 00:12:24 | >> Steve: Okay.
| 00:12:25 | Marsha is who?
| 00:12:26 | >> Marsha married into my
family.
| 00:12:29 | She's really --
>> Steve: She was the one that
testified against you.
| 00:12:32 | >> Yes.
| 00:12:33 | >> Steve: Against you in court.
| 00:12:35 | >> Yes.
| 00:12:36 | >> Steve: Did you feel?
| 00:12:38 | You said earlier because you
believe she couldn't have
children?
| 00:12:42 | >> Uh-huh.
| 00:12:43 | >> Steve: She wanted you out of
the picture?
| 00:12:44 | >> Yes, yes.
| 00:12:45 | >> Steve: Marsha is here.
| 00:12:47 | Let's bring her out.
| 00:12:49 | >> You know what, you are a
piece of work.
| 00:12:51 | For 19 years, I have taken over
your job of taking care of your
child that you brought to my
house and asked me to take care
of.
| 00:12:59 | I used to have to take her to
you in order for you to visit
her.
| 00:13:04 | You got out of prison and
thanked me for taking care of
your child and telling you I was
a good mother to your child and
now you're going to stand here
and accuse me of a bunch of bull
and lie on me?
| 00:13:18 | >> Steve: You went to prison.
| 00:13:19 | That's something I did not do.
| 00:13:21 | You know it, you know it woman.
| 00:13:24 | >> I under you did it.
| 00:13:29 | >> Hey you do, you went on the
witness stand and said I did it.
| 00:13:31 | >> If you didn't do it, why
didn't you fight for yourself.
| 00:13:35 | Your family was in the
courtroom.
| 00:13:36 | >> I didn't have the money to
fight.
| 00:13:39 | >> When a child comes to me and
said they been touched she's
freaking out because she doesn't
want to take a bath --
>> she's touched -- you seen the
doctor's report.
| 00:13:49 | >> No, it wasn't in the doctor's
report.
| 00:13:52 | That man never even changed her
diaper.
| 00:13:54 | >> She was acting out by rubbing
on his chest or genital areas --
>> no, no.
| 00:14:02 | >> Steve: Doesn't use people's
names that aren't here.
| 00:14:05 | >> Bottom line is, you wait 16
years to bring this crap up, but
why don't you leave it alone?
| 00:14:15 | She has gone on with her life.
| 00:14:20 | >> I bet she have, but you're
following in behind.
| 00:14:22 | Even when she left you, she went
to the lighthouse --
>> Steve: I would like to ask
marsha a couple questions.
| 00:14:29 | At some point you became the
custodian for this young woman,
right?
| 00:14:34 | >> Right.
| 00:14:34 | >> Steve: She was 3 years old.
| 00:14:36 | Do you believe that someone
molested her.
| 00:14:38 | >> I believe that someone
molested her.
| 00:14:41 | I had never believed it was
tyanna.
| 00:14:44 | >> Steve: Did you testify in
court that she did is it?
| 00:14:49 | >> I testified that yolanda said
tyanna did it.
| 00:14:54 | >> I have the doctor's report.
| 00:14:57 | >> This girl had she really,
truly wanted her child.
| 00:15:00 | She had three years to get her
long before that even happened.
| 00:15:04 | She would go for months and not
see this child.
| 00:15:07 | >> Steve: Sounds like, according
to her, correct me if I am
wrong, that she was going
through the hearings to get
custody of her child.
| 00:15:14 | That she was showing up.
| 00:15:16 | >> She was fighting for her
child but it's not my fought at
the time this happened.
| 00:15:22 | >> Steve: Nobody is -- is there
anybody blaming you?
| 00:15:25 | >> I'm tired of being the victim
for something, being blamed for
something that I didn't do other
than love her child and raise
her.
| 00:15:34 | I came hered to to find out that
she said that I possibly
molested yolanda or I know who
did it, that's the first time i
heard that and I'm sitting here
saying you got to be out of your
mind.
| 00:15:48 | >> Steve: So I'm clear, you took
a lie detector test before the
show?
| 00:15:52 | >> Yes.
| 00:15:53 | >> Steve: You also took a lie
detector test before the show?
| 00:15:56 | >> Yes.
| 00:15:56 | [ Applause ]
>> Steve: We'll get to those.
| 00:16:01 | Now yolanda is 19 years old.
| 00:16:03 | >> Yes.
| 00:16:04 | >> Steve: Does she currently
reside with you?
| 00:16:07 | >> No.
| 00:16:08 | >> Steve: She's a grown woman.
| 00:16:09 | She's out on her own.
| 00:16:10 | You basically raised her?
| 00:16:13 | >> Yes.
| 00:16:15 | >> Steve: Does she have a desire
to be with her mother?
| 00:16:18 | >> She says no.
| 00:16:21 | >> Steve: She's never been there
for yolanda.
| 00:16:25 | >>Y?
| 00:16:26 | Because you call took her away
from me.
| 00:16:29 | You sent me too prison at 21, i
was 21 years old.
| 00:16:32 | >> Steve: Marsha, what I would
like to do.
| 00:16:36 | Tyanna, I want both of you to
exit the stage, I want to talk
to yolanda.
| 00:16:41 | At some point we'll bring you
back out.
| 00:16:43 | >> I am innocent.
| 00:16:45 | You trying to pull this
innocence, what is that?
| 00:16:50 | You were never here for me.
| 00:16:52 | >> Why are you coming at me as
if I have done something wrong
to you.
| 00:16:56 | I haven't done anything wrong to
you, you and her both know who
molested you.
| 00:17:03 | That's why you keep covering up
for here
>> Steve: One of the toughest
stories I come across.
| 00:17:10 | Closed captioning provided by --
>> Steve: Let's bring out
yolanda now.
| 00:20:19 | How are you doing?
| 00:20:25 | [ Applause ]
this has got to be a tough thing
to talk about.
| 00:20:33 | >> Yeah.
| 00:20:37 | This happened to you when you
were 3 years old, right?
| 00:20:41 | >> Uh-huh.
| 00:20:43 | >> Steve: I always wonder
myself, can I even remember,
vague memories of when I was 3?
| 00:20:49 | Even looking back, can i
remember things that happened
when I was 3 years old?
| 00:20:53 | Do you know what happened to you
when you were 3?
| 00:20:56 | >> I personally don't remember
anymore.
| 00:20:58 | It was a situation where I have
blocked all of this out.
| 00:21:01 | Like I've been trying to forget
over this all of my life.
| 00:21:08 | Every time I get to a point, i
can shut that door, I can move
on, she brings this back up.
| 00:21:17 | >>
>> Steve: Your mother?
| 00:21:18 | >> Yes.
| 00:21:19 | That's the only reason I came
here.
| 00:21:21 | After today, wasn't to be done
with this.
| 00:21:23 | To me, if she brings this up
again, I feel like don't even
call me, don't find a way to
contact me at all.
| 00:21:32 | You have constantly brought this
up in my life.
| 00:21:34 | It's like you try to make me
miserable.
| 00:21:37 | Like you know this is something
that has always been an issue
for me.
| 00:21:41 | And you constantly bring it back
up.
| 00:21:50 | Instead of letting me move on
like I should.
| 00:21:53 | In june I graduated from high
school.
| 00:21:55 | I was a year late, but I did it.
| 00:22:01 | Next week -- next week, I start
college.
| 00:22:07 | This is something you're so busy
bringing up the past, you can't
be there for my graduation.
| 00:22:15 | We've never had a relationship.
| 00:22:16 | All because you're stuck on
this.
| 00:22:17 | If you let this go, we can be
happy.
| 00:22:19 | You're too busy worrying about
this other stuff.
| 00:22:22 | >> Steve: You're saying, your
mom, if she would stop bringing
this up.
| 00:22:26 | You would like to have a nice
normal relationship with your
mother?
| 00:22:29 | >> I would love to, but besides
that.
| 00:22:32 | The other reason we can't have a
relationship is because she's
mad because I feel like I'm
always going to have a
relationship with marsha, that's
my mother to me.
| 00:22:40 | That's the only mother I've ever
known.
| 00:22:46 | Your nom, tyanna, resenting it?
| 00:22:52 | >> Right.
| 00:22:52 | To me, yeah, I know she did
those five years in jail.
| 00:22:56 | I wouldn't wish that on anybody.
| 00:22:58 | You're so busy hating a woman
who took your job, you're so
busy hating a woman who has
always told me your another's
your mother, regardless.
| 00:23:09 | >> Steve: You're saying, marsha
always said your mom is your
mom.
| 00:23:13 | She never talks bad about
tyanna?
| 00:23:16 | >> No.
| 00:23:17 | I wouldn't have made it as far
as I am if it hadn't been for
her.
| 00:23:21 | How can you sit here and
honestly say that out of your
mouth.
| 00:23:24 | This is the only woman I can say
when I went to foster care and
everything else, she was still
right there.
| 00:23:30 | No matter what, whatever I did,
she's always been right there.
| 00:23:45 | >> I mean, this is a very
difficult story, because I can
honestly see how this has
affected you and you want to get
past it and move on with your
life and go to college.
| 00:23:58 | Do you believe your mom is
innocent?
| 00:24:01 | >> I always believe she was
innocent.
| 00:24:03 | >> Steve: You don't have any
feelings she might have done
this to you?
| 00:24:10 | >> I personally think she knows
who did it.
| 00:24:14 | But for a while, I got to the
point me wanting to know who it
is has always been in the back
me moving forward
in my life is more important
than this
>> Steve: Love your attitude.
| 00:24:25 | [ Applause ]
>> Steve: So, I guess from your
point of view, you would like to
have a relationship with your
mom, but you would like your mom
to stop going after marsha, do
you think your mom will put any
of this behind her, going to
jail?
| 00:24:53 | >> No.
| 00:24:54 | Because even when I set there
and had conversations with her
when I had first ran away, and i
ended up staying with her when
they found me, I sat down and i
tried to have a conversation
with her, and every conversation
leads back to this, every
conversation, no matter when it
is, where it is, everything
leads back to this.
| 00:25:19 | And you're very emotional,
passionate about marsha, your
mom made allegations against
her?
| 00:25:27 | >> Yeah.
| 00:25:28 | First time I actually heard
about that was this morning, and
they kind of took me back a
little bit.
| 00:25:34 | Because, like I said, this woman
is somebody who would give her
last breath for me.
| 00:25:40 | And I feel as though if she was
the one that did that, i
wouldn't have the relationship
that I have with her.
| 00:25:46 | I wouldn't have that bond,
because if somebody was messing
with you in that manner, it
wouldn't have happened once.
| 00:25:55 | It would happen time and time
again.
| 00:25:56 | I was at her house for 16 years.
| 00:25:59 | In those 16 years, if it
happened one time, and it was
her.
| 00:26:03 | It would have happened again.
| 00:26:05 | >> Steve: She's taken care of
you?
| 00:26:07 | >> Yes.
| 00:26:07 | >> Steve: She's loved you like a
mother?
| 00:26:11 | >> Yes.
| 00:26:12 | >> Steve: Your mother got out of
prison two years ago.
| 00:26:15 | Why haven't you been able to
have a mother-daughter
relationship, a normal one?
| 00:26:20 | >> It's a situation of where i
heard her say earlier she's
always tried, but it was never
her that was trying.
| 00:26:28 | It used to be me finding ways to
get in contact with my mother,
so I can contact to her and try
to figure out a way to make
something work with her.
| 00:26:41 | Every time I did, it was like i
was the one being blamed for her
going to jail.
| 00:26:47 | I did testify.
| 00:26:48 | I can't remember myself that
day, but I feel as though I know
I wasn't in the p wrong, I did
what I felt was right as a
child.
| 00:26:59 | >> Steve: 3 Years old.
| 00:27:00 | >> Right.
| 00:27:00 | >> Steve: You would not have any
bad intent in your heart.
| 00:27:04 | >> I did what I felt was right.
| 00:27:05 | For you to continuously make a
scene like this is my fault,
this whole situation is my
fault, I feel you are dead
wrong.
| 00:27:13 | You're wrong in every sense of
the word.
| 00:27:15 | Instead of sitting here trying
to blame me for something.
| 00:27:17 | Step up and be the mother you
should have been when you first
had me.
| 00:27:24 | >> Why are you coming at me as
if I've done something wrong to
you.
| 00:27:29 | You and I both know who molested
you.
| 00:27:32 | That's why you keep covering up
for it.
| 00:27:34 | >> That's one of the toughest
stories I've come across.
| 00:27:37 | These questions are quite
specific.
| 00:27:39 | Did you ever physically abuse
your daughter.
| 00:27:41 | Did you witness anyone else
abuse your daughter.
| 00:27:44 | >> Steve: Do you want me to read
these results to your mother?
| 00:27:47 | >> Yeah.
| 00:27:48 | >> Steve: I would like you to
come she my
>> Steve: It's time to take your
stand, where you give me answers
to today's big questions.
| 00:30:20 | Are parents too easy on their
children these days?
| 00:30:24 | Dial 877-steve tv.
| 00:30:28 | That's 877-783-8388 and tell me
what you think.
| 00:30:34 | Plus you receive several
exclusive offers when you call.
| 00:30:39 | Show me review stand and call
877-783-8388 now.
| 00:30:52 | >> Steve: Let's bring your
mother back out?
| 00:30:54 | >> How could you say I've never
been there for you.
| 00:30:56 | You was only a child, yolanda.
| 00:30:59 | And I have never shut my door, i
have always been there.
| 00:31:04 | And regardless how marsha took
care of you, and how marsha
raised you, every time I stood
in my doorway.
| 00:31:14 | That door was always shut in my
face.
| 00:31:16 | I wanted to prove to you, who i
was.
| 00:31:19 | >> You were told she couldn't be
a mother.
| 00:31:25 | You tried to prove your
innocence, instead of being
there for me.
| 00:31:27 | >> No, I was not.
| 00:31:29 | >> You weren't there for me.
| 00:31:31 | >> I was in prison.
| 00:31:32 | I went to prison for you.
| 00:31:34 | >> It wasn't for me.
| 00:31:38 | >> I went to prison for you.
| 00:31:41 | Okay?
| 00:31:42 | To show my innocence.
| 00:31:44 | >> How did you know to prison to
show your innocence?
| 00:31:47 | >> Showing that I was there.
| 00:31:48 | I wasn't going to cop out to
something that I did not do.
| 00:31:52 | Okay?
| 00:31:52 | And when I'm standing there.
| 00:31:57 | >> You were not there --
>> right.
| 00:31:59 | I didn't have a lawyer.
| 00:32:03 | >> You had your mouth.
| 00:32:05 | >> I did have my mouth.
| 00:32:06 | >> Why are you coming at me as
if I've done something wrong to
you.
| 00:32:10 | I haven't done anything wrong to
you.
| 00:32:14 | >> Not being there for me is
doing something wrong.
| 00:32:18 | Not trying to move on in my
life.
| 00:32:20 | >> Move on with marsha, you know
she's the one holds the mess
over your head.
| 00:32:25 | >> She's holding nothing over my
head.
| 00:32:28 | >> You know who molested you,
but you don't want to say.
| 00:32:31 | That's why marsha keeps -- you
know, you know and her both know
who molested you, that's why you
keep covering up for her.
| 00:32:41 | That's why you been in marsha's
[ bleep ] and everything.
| 00:32:45 | I'm the one accepted you.
| 00:32:46 | I'm the one that carried you for
nine months.
| 00:32:55 | >> That doesn't make you no
mother.
| 00:32:57 | >> Of course it doesn't make you
no mother, you got people in
your life telling you what to do
at 16, of course, of course.
| 00:33:04 | 16 Years old.
| 00:33:06 | 16 Years old having you.
| 00:33:08 | >> Okay.
| 00:33:09 | >> 16.
| 00:33:13 | >> Okay.
| 00:33:15 | >> Steve: Hold on.
| 00:33:16 | I can't imagine for one second
what you've been through, i
can't imagine.
| 00:33:19 | But listen to me.
| 00:33:21 | If you honestly think if your
daughter knew, if she would
really speak who did this, that
she's holding back?
| 00:33:28 | I mean, I see a young woman in
pain, I don't think she would be
holding anybody's name back if
she could say somebody's name.
| 00:33:37 | I don't think she's protecting
anybody.
| 00:33:40 | That's just my gut feeling here.
| 00:33:42 | And honestly, whatever time you
lost, you're not going to get it
back.
| 00:33:49 | So I think maybe you do need --
your own daughter, you need to
move forward and kind of let
this go.
| 00:33:59 | Because if you don't let it go,
you're going to let her go.
| 00:34:03 | >> She's already let me go.
| 00:34:05 | >> Steve: You still have a
chance, you still have a chance
to have a life with your
daughter.
| 00:34:17 | This is one of the toughest
stories I've ever come across.
| 00:34:21 | Again, I can't imagine what it's
like to be innocent and go to
jail and think you're going to
be in jail for 10 to 20 years.
| 00:34:30 | I know, obviously, you're going
to resent mara, because you
feel like she stole your baby
girl from you, but you have your
life ahead of you now.
| 00:34:40 | You could still be in jail.
| 00:34:51 | What I'm trying to say here,
she's the victim.
| 00:34:55 | Somebody did something to this
little girl, she's the victim.
| 00:34:57 | >> Steve: She's questions quite
specific.
| 00:34:59 | Did you ever physically -- did
you witness anyone.
| 00:35:05 | >> Dave: Do you want me to read
these results for your mother?
| 00:37:26 | >> Steve: It's time to take your
stand where you give me answers
to today's big question.
| 00:37:31 | Are parents too easy on their
children these days?
| 00:37:35 | Just dial 877-steve tv.
| 00:37:38 | That's 877-783-8388 and tell me
what you think.
| 00:37:44 | Plus, you receive several
exclusive offers when you call.
| 00:37:50 | Show me ereview stand and call
877-783-8388 now.
| 00:38:01 | >> Steve: You're out of jail
now.
| 00:38:03 | >> Right.
| 00:38:03 | >> Steve: You have your daughter
standing right here.
| 00:38:06 | >> Right.
| 00:38:06 | >> Steve: Instead of beating
things up over and over and over
again.
| 00:38:10 | How about just being together
and loving her?
| 00:38:12 | [ Applause ]
>> what makes it so bad is,
while we setting here today, i
begged my mother to let this go.
| 00:38:25 | I wrote her a letter, and I told
her, I was like, you sitting
here, you holding on to this.
| 00:38:31 | Yet do you realize you holding
on to this is pushing me further
away?
| 00:38:35 | You're missing out on the year i
graduate from school.
| 00:38:39 | You're missing out on the fact
that I'm getting ready to start
college.
| 00:38:43 | At the rate you're going, you're
going to miss out on my whole
life.
| 00:38:46 | And I feel like if this can't be
left alone, I'm better off
without her.
| 00:38:53 | And for me to say that, that
hurts.
| 00:38:56 | And she can't leave this alone.
| 00:38:58 | I'm better off without her.
| 00:39:01 | >> You didn't leave me alone
when I went to prison.
| 00:39:05 | I had to stand up.
| 00:39:06 | I had to stand -- have a
sentence over my head of 10 to
25 years, yolanda.
| 00:39:13 | >> I can't change that.
| 00:39:14 | >> No, but -- this is one thing
I want to get clear to you.
| 00:39:19 | I hold nothing against you, as
my child.
| 00:39:22 | Okay.
| 00:39:22 | In regards to these molestation
charges.
| 00:39:25 | None of that, because you being
a child at 3, you didn't know no
better.
| 00:39:32 | But for you to stand there and
say, I don't love you, and i
don't care for you, and I'm
still harboring over the past,
yes, I am, but --
>> the only reason you're
harboring over the past is
because of losing me.
| 00:39:48 | >> Only reason why, I want to
get to the bottom of it.
| 00:39:53 | >> Is it worth you losing me?
| 00:39:56 | >> I haven't lost you.
| 00:39:57 | You have separated yourself from
me.
| 00:40:00 | >> No.
| 00:40:00 | >> I haven't lost you.
| 00:40:02 | >> You have lost me.
| 00:40:03 | You can't tell me nothing about
me.
| 00:40:05 | Can you tell me what my favorite
color is?
| 00:40:08 | Can you tell me what my favorite
food is?
| 00:40:10 | Can you tell me what I like to
do?
| 00:40:12 | >> You haven't given me the
opportunity.
| 00:40:18 | >> Steve: Hold on, what I don't
understand you had problems
early in your life, your
daughter was taken away.
| 00:40:22 | These allegations, you go to
prison.
| 00:40:24 | She's got a point.
| 00:40:25 | At some point, you need to know,
what's her favorite color, what
she likes to eat.
| 00:40:31 | There's nothing stopping you.
| 00:40:32 | I seriously hear this young lady
talking up here and I don't
think she's putting on an act,
she's saying, I love you mom, i
want you in my life, but I don't
want to rehash this over and
over and over again.
| 00:40:46 | >> Okay.
| 00:40:49 | [ Applause ]
let's bring marsha back out.
| 00:41:05 | You basically asked marsha, were
you asked, did you ever molest
yolanda.
| 00:41:10 | You answered no.
| 00:41:11 | Did you ever witness anyone else
sexually sexually molesting
yolanda, and you anned no.
| 00:41:18 | And the results for your lie
detector test is that marsha has
told the truth.
| 00:41:26 | >> Thank you.
| 00:41:27 | You owe her an apology.
| 00:41:34 | >> I only owe you an apology for
my thought of you knowing who
may have molested yolanda.
| 00:41:42 | But for me going to prison, i
don't owe you an apology for
that.
| 00:41:47 | >> You know what, I would be --
I would probably drop over dead
if you gave me one.
| 00:41:52 | I feel sorry for you.
| 00:41:56 | And I forgive you.
| 00:42:00 | >> Nobody has done a better job
than her.
| 00:42:01 | I honestly -- I thank you so she
can be here.
| 00:42:07 | >> I had to get to the bottom of
it.
| 00:42:09 | Now I know.
| 00:42:11 | She don't know.
| 00:42:13 | And she has been telling the
truth all along.
| 00:42:15 | That's what I wanted to know.
| 00:42:17 | >> And I prayed that the same
thing happens to you, that you
pass it, because I still say you
didn't do it.
| 00:42:23 | >> Your conviction was
overturned for lack of evidence.
| 00:42:28 | >> Yes.
| 00:42:28 | >> Steve: Do you want me to read
these results for your mother?
| 00:42:32 | >> Yeah.
| 00:42:33 | Because I feel I deserve to
know.
| 00:42:36 | >> Steve: Tyanna you were asked,
did you ever sexually abuse your
daughter yolanda, you answered
no.
| 00:42:43 | Did you ever physically abuse
your daughter yolanda, you
answered no.
| 00:42:48 | Did you ever witness anyone else
sexually abuse your daughter
yolanda, and you answered no.
| 00:42:55 | And the results of your lie
detector test is that --
>> Steve: Tomorrow -- did you
have a baby?
| 00:43:06 | >> Yes, I did.
| 00:43:07 | >> Steve: She couldn't tell me
which hospital it was at.
| 00:43:10 | >> I contacted him the day it
was born.
| 00:43:12 | >> She told me the baby was
dead.
| 00:43:15 | >> She's lying.
| 00:43:20 | >> Steve: Have you ever seen the
baby?
| 00:43:21 | Why hasn't he seen the baby.
| 00:43:22 | >> Do you have a picture of your
baby?
| 00:43:25 | >> Steve: I haven't gotten a
picture.
| 00:43:27 | >> Is there a baby?
| 00:43:28 | >> Yes.
| 00:43:30 | >> Steve: You should need lie
detector test to tell a man he
has a son.
| 00:46:52 | >> Steve: Have you caught an act
of violence on tape?
| 00:46:54 | Call me at 1-888-steve-07.
| 00:47:07 | >> Steve: Did you ever
physically abuse your daughter
yolanda, you answered no.
| 00:47:13 | And the results of your lie
detector test is that you did
not tell the truth.
| 00:47:18 | >> Oh, god.
| 00:47:22 | Oh, god.
| 00:47:23 | >> Steve: You failed your lie
detector test.
| 00:47:28 | >> I lied?
| 00:47:29 | >> Steve: You're not telling the
truth.
| 00:47:31 | >> Huh?
| 00:47:32 | >> Steve: Just the way you're
saying, huh?
| 00:47:37 | Sent shivers up my spine.
| 00:47:40 | >> I'm shocked at this.
| 00:47:41 | >> You know what, as it is, you
really let me down.
| 00:47:49 | >> I'm really shocked with this.
| 00:47:55 | >> You knew this for years.
| 00:47:59 | You chased me with this for
clears now you look like a fool.
| 00:48:02 | >> Why do I look like a fool?
| 00:48:04 | I am still innocent, I am
innocent.
| 00:48:10 | >> I don't care.
| 00:48:12 | What the test result may see,
oh, you're lying on a polygraph
test, I don't feel that is
right, because I don't feel it
is right.
| 00:48:24 | I don't care what that paperwork
is stating.
| 00:48:26 | I don't care if I was guilty, i
would be in prison right now.
| 00:48:30 | >> Steve: Hold on.
| 00:48:31 | You know what, hold on, hold on.
| 00:48:36 | Listen, listen.
| 00:48:38 | Truthfully --
>> no evidence --
>> Steve: Listen, you weren't
found innocent.
| 00:48:43 | Your convict was thrown out.
| 00:48:45 | But you were not found innocent
of those charges.
| 00:48:47 | >> Yes, I was.
| 00:48:49 | >> No you wasn't.
| 00:48:52 | >> Steve: We have the paperwork,
and it was overturned.
| 00:48:55 | >> Okay, overturned means --
>> Steve: What I'm saying is,
what I -- when I'm -- I'm not a
human lie detector, but what i
do, is I do judge people the way
they react to things.
| 00:49:07 | I see the way you reacted to
that test, the lack of emotion
right now, you're saying
legalese about a mother, this is
your daughter.
| 00:49:17 | >> I can't believe it, i
honestly can't believe this,
steve.
| 00:49:20 | Like I said, if I did that to my
child, I would still be in
prison today.
| 00:49:25 | I would still be in prison
today.
| 00:49:29 | That's why a lie detector test
was not used against me.
| 00:49:32 | >> Steve: Maybe not.
| 00:49:33 | >> That's why a lie detector
test wasn't used against me back
then.
| 00:49:37 | >> Steve: You know what, you're
a smart enough woman, you know
that coming into a show, you
know that can't be used against
you.
| 00:49:46 | >> Why?
| 00:49:48 | Of course.
| 00:49:48 | >> Steve: I don't know why
you're here.
| 00:49:50 | From what I under you have a
bright, smart intelligent
daughter.
| 00:49:54 | All your daughter is asking for
two simple things.
| 00:49:56 | She is saying marsha couldn't
have treated me any getter, i
loved this woman.
| 00:50:01 | She's treated me as a real
mother.
| 00:50:03 | And you can be part of my life
but I want this stuff to be
drop, let it go and you choose
not to do that.
| 00:50:08 | >> And like I said, the own
reason why I chose not to let it
go, is because I felt like the
molestation was coming from her
home.
| 00:50:17 | Okay?
| 00:50:17 | Because she's the one raised
yolanda.
| 00:50:21 | That's where the allegations.
| 00:50:24 | Allegations only came up during
the weekend visit that I had --
>> Steve: You know what,
allegations come up when stuff
happens.
| 00:50:32 | And when stuff happens, that's
when allegations come up.
| 00:50:36 | >> Okay, right.
| 00:50:38 | [ Applause ]
>> allegations come up, but yet,
still, like I said,
nevertheless, steve, this is a
bunch of garbage, it's a bunch
of garbagall of it.
| 00:50:51 | I come here today to prove my
innocence.
| 00:50:53 | >> Steve: You did a bad job of
it.
| 00:50:55 | >> How?
| 00:50:56 | How did I do a bad job.
| 00:50:58 | I failed the test?
| 00:51:00 | I have no knowledge?
| 00:51:01 | >> You lied.
| 00:51:03 | >> Lied about what?
| 00:51:05 | I still don't know.
| 00:51:06 | Like I said, I don't know who
molested you.
| 00:51:09 | I went to prison --
>> if you have let all this go
none of this would have ever
happened
>> Steve: The questions are
quite specifically.
| 00:51:22 | Did you ever sexually abuse your
daughter.
| 00:51:24 | >> No.
| 00:51:25 | >> Steve: Did you physically
abuse your daughter.
| 00:51:27 | >> No.
| 00:51:28 | >> Steve: Did you witness
anybody sexually abuse your
daughter.
| 00:51:32 | >> No
>> Steve: And you failed those
questions.
| 00:51:33 | Three simple questions.
| 00:51:36 | >> But I've never molested her.
| 00:51:37 | >> Steve: Why would you want to
take the test?
| 00:51:39 | >> Why not?
| 00:51:43 | Why not?
| 00:51:43 | Only if the results were good,
then they would be -- if you
passed it, then you'd like it,
then, right?
| 00:51:50 | >> This does not prove nothing.
| 00:51:52 | I have not -- I have not -- i
have not.
| 00:51:59 | >> I have failed -- right,
right.
| 00:52:02 | >> So therefore, you watch it,
we believe it.
| 00:52:09 | >> I bet they have.
| 00:52:12 | >> Steve: That's a good point,
what if she failed?
| 00:52:17 | >> She been lying to you all
these years, but because she
failed it, it's bad.
| 00:52:23 | This lie detector is wrong.
| 00:52:29 | >> Lie detector test -- it
doesn't get to the bottom.
| 00:52:39 | >> Steve: Anything you want to
say to your mother?
| 00:52:41 | >> All I want to say is thank
you for bringing me here so i
got my answers, thank you for
doing everything you done,
because if it hadn't have been
for you, I wouldn't be the woman
I am today.
| 00:52:53 | I couldn't stand here and be
strong the way that I am.
| 00:52:56 | I'm shedding tears, but instead
I'm happy I'm over this.
| 00:53:02 | [ Applause ]
>> you should be happy you're
over it.
| 00:53:05 | I'm happy you're over it.
| 00:53:08 | But I'll still stand my ground
to say that I am innocent.
| 00:53:12 | I am innocent.
| 00:53:16 | >> Steve: If you say it enough
types, you might believe it.
| 00:53:21 | Get off my stage
[ applause ]
>> Steve: Tomorrow --
>> my ex-girlfriend said I had a
son.
| 00:53:36 | >> Steve: Did you have a baby?
| 00:53:37 | >> She wouldn't tell me which
hospital it was at.
| 00:53:40 | >> I contacted him the day it
was born.
| 00:53:42 | >> She told me the it was dead.
| 00:53:47 | >> Steve: Have you ever seen the
baby?
| 00:53:49 | >> No.
| 00:53:51 | >> Steve: Why didn't he see his
baby
>> Steve: If you're going to be
in the tristate area and would
like to see the show live call
1-877-74-steve and reserve your
free tickets.
| 00:56:15 | >> Steve: For whatever reason,
yolanda obviously didn't have
her parents in her life.
| 00:56:20 | Thank god there are women and
men like you, marsha that takes
children in, that acts like a
true mother, that shows love and
kindness.
| 00:56:28 | You did a wonderful, wonderful
job raising this woman and i
hope this puts it to bed for you
and I hope you can go on.
| 00:56:35 | Good luck in college.
| 00:56:36 | Good luck with your life.
| 00:56:37 | [ Applause ]
good luck.
| 00:00:01 | Son?
| 00:00:01 | You shouldn't need lie detector
results to tell a man whenever
he has a son or not.
| 00:00:06 | >> Steve: Look the man in the
eyes and tell him the truth
about the baby.
| 00:00:17 | >> Steve: Welcome to the show.
| 00:00:19 | My guest is chris.
| 00:00:21 | Chris, you call the show.
| 00:00:23 | Why are you here?
| 00:00:24 | >> I'm here today because my
compulsive liar of an
ex-girlfriend claims that I have
a son.
| 00:00:30 | I asked her for proof of it.
| 00:00:33 | She hasn't given me any proof.
| 00:00:36 | She told me two different due
dates.
| 00:00:39 | The first was march 30th and
THEN APRIL 1st.
| 00:00:43 | She didn't call me to tell me
she was at the hospital to have
the baby.
| 00:00:46 | She couldn't tell me which
hospital it was at.
| 00:00:49 | I've called around and asked all
the hospitals around where she
said that it was at.
| 00:00:55 | They said that --
>> Steve: What do you think
she's lying about?
| 00:00:58 | >> About the baby.
| 00:00:59 | >> Steve: You think she didn't
have a baby?
| 00:01:02 | >> No.
| 00:01:02 | >> Steve: Did you see her
pregnant at some point?
| 00:01:05 | >> When she was a month
pregnant, I went to the doctor's
with her, they said that she was
pregnant.
| 00:01:13 | Two weeks later, we were going
to another appointment.
| 00:01:17 | We pulled up to the doctor's
office.
| 00:01:19 | She didn't get out.
| 00:01:20 | She kept making excuses on why
she didn't want to get out.
| 00:01:24 | So then we ended up leaving.
| 00:01:26 | And then when she was five
months' pregnant she
disappeared.
| 00:01:32 | >> Steve: She just up and took
off?
| 00:01:34 | >> Yes.
| 00:01:35 | She didn't tell me where she
went.
| 00:01:37 | She called me but she couldn't
come see me.
| 00:01:40 | >> Steve: When she told you she
was pregnant, were you excited?
| 00:01:45 | Were you happy?
| 00:01:46 | >> I was excited.
| 00:01:47 | >> You think, great, I'm going
to be a father and she takes off
after five months, what are you
saying to her?
| 00:01:59 | >> I'm asking her where the baby
was.
| 00:02:05 | It was my first born.
| 00:02:06 | >> Steve: Did you plan the baby?
| 00:02:08 | >> Yes.
| 00:02:09 | >> Steve: She's gone, five
months pass by.
| 00:02:11 | She calls and you asks you what?
| 00:02:13 | >> She calls me and asks do i
want to see my son?
| 00:02:17 | I said, yeah.
| 00:02:19 | She said she'd bring him down.
| 00:02:21 | She always made excuses on why
she didn't make it.
| 00:02:25 | She always told me either she
got lost or she had an
emergency.
| 00:02:29 | Then she would tell me that the
baby got kidnapped.
| 00:02:33 | >> Steve: The baby got
kidnapped?
| 00:02:35 | >> Yes.
| 00:02:36 | >> Steve: By who?
| 00:02:37 | >> She said by her family.
| 00:02:39 | >> Steve: Her family kidnapped
the baby.
| 00:02:40 | >> Yes.
| 00:02:41 | I told her come pick me up,
we're going to go up to her
family's house and see if we can
find the baby.
| 00:02:48 | We went to three of her family
member's places and none of them
have seen the baby.
| 00:02:55 | >> Steve: Nobody's seen the
baby?
| 00:02:56 | >> No.
| 00:02:57 | >> Steve: Have you ever seen the
baby?
| 00:03:00 | >> No.
| 00:03:00 | >> Steve: Have you ever seen a
picture of the baby?
| 00:03:03 | >> No.
| 00:03:05 | >> Steve: Birth certificate.
| 00:03:06 | >> She sent me a picture telling
me was a baby.
| 00:03:10 | The only thing it was was like a
blurred picture like a bum.
| 00:03:14 | >> Steve: Was the bum dressed up
in a little baby outfit.
| 00:03:17 | >> No.
| 00:03:25 | [ Applause ]
>> Steve: Have you known anybody
other than her to see this baby?
| 00:03:29 | >> Only her friends say that
they've seen the baby.
| 00:03:33 | I don't know if that's just a
lie for her.
| 00:03:36 | >> Steve: What was your
relationship like with your
girlfriend?
| 00:03:39 | >> It was good, until she
started lying to me.
| 00:03:43 | >> Steve: What did she start
lying about?
| 00:03:45 | >> First, she started lying to
me about the baby.
| 00:03:49 | And then she started lying to me
about the truck.
| 00:03:52 | >> Steve: The truck?
| 00:03:53 | >> Yeah.
| 00:03:54 | >> Steve: What was she lying
about the truck for?
| 00:03:56 | >> She said she was going to get
me a truck and then a car for my
birthday.
| 00:04:02 | >> Steve: A truck and a car?
| 00:04:04 | >> Yeah.
| 00:04:05 | She kept telling me that she's
got all this money.
| 00:04:08 | She supposedly has a bank card,
and she's telling me and other
people that she's got like $2
million.
| 00:04:19 | >> Steve: I hope we lie detected
about the $2 million.
| 00:04:24 | [ Applause ]
>> Steve: Now, honestly, did you
think she had $2 million?
| 00:04:34 | >> No.
| 00:04:35 | >> Steve: Did you think you were
going to get the car and the
truck?
| 00:04:38 | >> No.
| 00:04:38 | >> Steve: Now, she's saying the
baby's kidnapped.
| 00:04:42 | >> Changed the story from the
baby got kidnapped to the baby
00 at
night.
| 00:04:49 | To the baby was dead.
| 00:04:54 | >> Steve: Then she tells you the
baby's dead?
| 00:04:57 | >> Yeah.
| 00:04:58 | That was her first story, was
the baby was dead.
| 00:05:01 | >> Steve: How does the baby come
alive?
| 00:05:03 | >> A couple months later, she
found that the baby was
illegally adopted out.
| 00:05:09 | >> Steve: Wow, she's got every
excuse in the book for this one.
| 00:05:16 | >> When we went to talk to the
lawyer, the lawyer never showed
up.
| 00:05:19 | She was calling numbers.
| 00:05:21 | She said she was talking to a
lawyer.
| 00:05:23 | I asked her for the number.
| 00:05:26 | She gives me the number and it's
remax.
| 00:05:30 | >> Steve: It's possible.
| 00:05:41 | >> Steve: Why hasn't he seen the
baby?
| 00:05:43 | >> Because the baby was
kidnapped.
| 00:05:45 | >> Steve: Do have a picture of
the baby?
| 00:05:48 | >> I haven't been able to get a
picture of the baby.
| 00:05:50 | >> Steve: You're a mother and
you don't have a picture of your
son?
| 00:05:55 | Look the man in the eye and tell
him the truth about the baby.
| 00:08:52 | >> Steve: If you're going to be
in the new york tristate area,
and you'd like to be part of my
studio audience, call
877-74-steve.
| 00:09:00 | And reserve your free tickets.
| 00:09:07 | >> Steve: Let me ask you, you
were with her.
| 00:09:11 | You planned on having a baby do
you love her?
| 00:09:13 | >> No.
| 00:09:14 | >> Steve: Not at all?
| 00:09:15 | >> I love her as a friend.
| 00:09:17 | >> Steve: Do you have any
feelings for her?
| 00:09:20 | >> No.
| 00:09:21 | >> Steve: What if she came out
and said I love you, I want to
be with you.
| 00:09:25 | >> I wouldn't go back with her.
| 00:09:27 | I have a new girlfriend with a
baby on wait.
| 00:09:30 | >> Steve: You have a baby with
another girl?
| 00:09:33 | >> Yes.
| 00:09:34 | >> Steve: And you saw proof of
it?
| 00:09:39 | >> Yes.
| 00:09:43 | [ Applause ]
>> Steve: Now, your girlfriend
took a lie detector test before
the show.
| 00:09:49 | Does she say she has a baby?
| 00:09:52 | >> Yes.
| 00:09:53 | >> Steve: What's the baby's
name?
| 00:09:55 | >> Damian lee.
| 00:09:56 | >> Steve: How are you going to
feel if she comes out and says
there say baby?
| 00:10:03 | >> I'd be excited.
| 00:10:06 | >> Steve: What if there wasn't a
baby?
| 00:10:08 | >> I dream about the baby every
night.
| 00:10:10 | >> Steve: What do you want to
happen today?
| 00:10:12 | >> I want to know the truth,
with the baby.
| 00:10:15 | >> Steve: Now, you said --
[ applause ]
>> Steve: Now, you said you have
a new girlfriend.
| 00:10:25 | >> Uh-huh.
| 00:10:26 | >> Steve: And she's pregnant,
right?
| 00:10:29 | >> Yes.
| 00:10:30 | >> Steve: Are you ready to be a
father?
| 00:10:32 | >> Yes.
| 00:10:33 | >> Steve: Are you ready to be a
good father?
| 00:10:35 | >> Yes.
| 00:10:36 | [ Applause ]
>> Steve: So I'm going to ask
you to leave the stage.
| 00:10:39 | I'm going to talk to your
ex-girlfriend, at some point,
we'll get back to you and get
the results of the lie detector
test.
| 00:10:47 | [ Applause ]
>> Steve: All right.
| 00:10:55 | Let's bring out christine.
| 00:10:58 | >> How do you feel about saying
that I'm lying and making a joke
of me?
| 00:11:03 | He had pictures of the child.
| 00:11:05 | He had all the pictures and he
[ bleep ] --
>> Steve: Let me ask you a
question, did you have a baby?
| 00:11:15 | >> Yes, I did.
| 00:11:16 | >> Steve: Do you have the baby
now?
| 00:11:19 | >> I have the baby now but the
hospital [ bleep ] for the past
week.
| 00:11:24 | >> Steve: You don't have to
swear.
| 00:11:26 | Is chris the father of this
baby?
| 00:11:29 | >> Yes.
| 00:11:29 | >> Steve: Old is the baby now?
| 00:11:34 | >> The baby was born on april
1st
>> Steve: April 1st.
| 00:11:42 | April fool's day.
| 00:11:46 | >> You're making a joke of me.
| 00:11:48 | >> Steve: I'm not making a joke.
| 00:11:50 | >> Yes, you are, you're cracking
jokes.
| 00:11:54 | >> Steve: I'm laughing with
chris.
| 00:11:56 | >> About me.
| 00:11:57 | He's saying he has never seen
the baby.
| 00:12:00 | >> Steve: Why hasn't he seen the
baby?
| 00:12:03 | >> The baby was kidnapped at 2
weeks of age.
| 00:12:07 | >> Steve: Who kidnapped your
baby?
| 00:12:09 | >> One of my family members.
| 00:12:12 | Somebody I trusted.
| 00:12:13 | >> Steve: How do they get your
baby?
| 00:12:15 | >> I left him there because he
was sick.
| 00:12:17 | He knows that.
| 00:12:19 | >> Steve: Your family member
took your child and wouldn't
give it back.
| 00:12:24 | >> We don't know what happened.
| 00:12:26 | I called the police.
| 00:12:27 | I filed a report.
| 00:12:28 | >> Steve: How do you get the
baby back?
| 00:12:33 | >> The baby -- they found a baby
up in carver's woods, it was
allegedly my son.
| 00:12:41 | Later on, I told the father
being nice and being
compassionate and letting him
know that his son was gone.
| 00:12:48 | Okay.
| 00:12:48 | Later ontheyesnvestegatedd
deeper into it and found out
that wasn't my son.
| 00:12:52 | >> Steve: And then how did they
find your son?
| 00:12:56 | >> They found him up in seattle
when my trusted friend went to
seattle with him.
| 00:13:01 | >> Steve: I thought it was a
family member that stole the
member.
| 00:13:05 | >> It was a family member.
| 00:13:07 | >> Steve: And she gave it to --
>> between seattle and --
>> Steve: No, I'm saying, this
family member gave the baby to
the trusted friend.
| 00:13:15 | >> No.
| 00:13:20 | >> Steve: Just explain it, what
happened?
| 00:13:24 | >> My family member with another
trusted friend there.
| 00:13:27 | The trusted friend had the baby
in seattle.
| 00:13:30 | That's where he was found.
| 00:13:33 | Since then, chris has been
notified.
| 00:13:35 | He hasn't ever asked about that
child since the day of
kidnapping.
| 00:13:39 | >> Steve: He's here today
because he wants to see his son.
| 00:13:42 | >> That's because he got a free
trip.
| 00:13:44 | He don't care about that child.
| 00:13:46 | >> Steve: You're telling me that
chris just wanted a free trip?
| 00:13:49 | >> Yeah.
| 00:13:50 | He also asked me about the trust
and about baby.
| 00:13:54 | He never once asked me about the
child.
| 00:13:56 | >> Steve: Do you have $2
million?
| 00:13:57 | >> Yes, I do.
| 00:14:05 | Ent him pictures of his
truck.
| 00:14:08 | Of it you bought him a truck?

| 00:15:09 | >> If there is a baby, you need
to prove it.
| 00:15:13 | >> Steve: You shouldn't need lie

if he has a son or not.
| 00:15:18 | >> It's true.
| 00:15:20 | >> Steve: Look the man in the

| 00:31:34 | >> Steve: Do you love chris?
| 00:31:35 | >> I love him with all my heart.

| 00:31:46 | >> Steve: Okay.
| 00:31:47 | Is it possible that you made up
this story about the baby so you
could hold on to chris?
| 00:31:52 | >> No, I would never do that to
him.
| 00:31:55 | >> Steve: Do you know why he's
with vanessa?

in love with her?
| 00:32:06 | >> Steve: Why?

| 00:32:07 | >> Because she's pregnant.
| 00:32:09 | Before that, he was sending me
text messages.
| 00:32:13 | Saying he loves me, he misses me

| 00:32:24 | >> Yeah.
| 00:32:25 | >> Steve: Do you think he still

| 00:32:27 | >> I know he does.
| 00:32:29 | He's sitting there lying there

| 00:32:49 | Make sure if he has to go to the
hospital, to take him to the
hospital.
| 00:32:54 | I gave him full authorization.
| 00:32:57 | >> Steve: And the day care
center, you said, I'm going to
the "the steve wilkos show," I'm
going for a couple days, and

| 00:33:07 | >> Yes.
| 00:33:08 | >> Steve: Do you want to come
out and talk to chris

| 00:33:34 | >> Keep my son from me, that's
what.
| 00:33:37 | >> I didn't keep your son from
you.
| 00:33:39 | >> You told me when he was
born --
>> yes, I did.
| 00:33:43 | >> No, you did not.
| 00:33:46 | >> And you didn't show up.
| 00:33:49 | Your friends were more
important, your drugs?
| 00:33:53 | >> What drugs?
| 00:33:55 | >> Not no more.
| 00:33:56 | >> I used to a long time ago.
| 00:33:59 | >> No, not a long time ago.
| 00:34:00 | >> I'm changing my life around,
though.
| 00:34:03 | I'm trying to better myself.
| 00:34:04 | >> Not a long time ago.
| 00:34:05 | You stop lying right now.
| 00:34:07 | >> Steve: Chris, I want you to
look him in the eye and say if

son?
| 00:34:17 | >> Prove it.
| 00:34:18 | >> I will prove it.
| 00:34:21 | What are you going to do if it's
true?
| 00:34:23 | Answer, what are you going to do
if it's true?
| 00:34:26 | >> I'm going to take care of
you.
| 00:34:30 | >> Steve: When you saw the baby
in my stomach at six months, why
do you think I ran off?
| 00:34:37 | >> Why did you?
| 00:34:39 | >> Why do you think I ran off?
| 00:34:40 | >> Why did you?
| 00:34:42 | >> Because you said you didn't
care.
| 00:34:44 | >> You said you left the baby
with a family member, right?
| 00:34:51 | >> Why did she say there was no
baby?
| 00:34:54 | >> She told you the truth.
| 00:34:56 | She told you the truth.
| 00:34:58 | >> The first story she gave

| 00:35:19 | He asked for him.
| 00:35:20 | He asked for them.
| 00:35:22 | >> Steve: I thought you told me

to another?
| 00:35:49 | When you first got here, you

| 00:36:43 | >> You know I was pregnant with
your baby.
| 00:36:46 | >> Steve: Let's get the results.
| 00:36:48 | >> My boyfriend denied me.

| 00:40:21 | >> You stop laughing.
| 00:40:23 | I know that smirk.

for a long time.
| 00:41:00 | He's the one that started
talking to me again.
| 00:41:05 | >> And she said I don't care
about my son and I don't ask
about him.
| 00:41:10 | >> When have you asked about
him?
| 00:41:15 | >> I asked him about every time.
| 00:41:19 | >> No, before they started
contacting you.
| 00:41:24 | >> This is when I'm sitting in
bed doing my homework, he was
talking to you.
| 00:41:28 | >> Steve: You haven't promised
chris a truck or a car?
| 00:41:30 | >> No.
| 00:41:30 | No.
| 00:41:33 | [ Applause ]
>> you like your life, your
[ bleep ] --
>> Steve: Hold on, christine, if
she does have the baby, is this
going to change anything between
you and chris?
| 00:41:47 | >> No.
| 00:41:49 | >> Steve: If she doesn't have
the baby?
| 00:41:52 | >> Then I would like her to
leave us the heck alone.
| 00:41:57 | [ Applause ]
>> Steve: You were asked, we
weren't even going to put this
in the lie detector because it's
a pretty serious issue when you
tell somebody you have a son and
he never got to see his son.
| 00:42:12 | But are you presently storing a
2009 silverado that you bought
for chris.
| 00:42:20 | >> Yes.
| 00:42:22 | >> Steve: Are you really storing
a silverado for him?
| 00:42:25 | >> Yes.
| 00:42:26 | >> Steve: When are you going to
give it to him?
| 00:42:29 | >> When he stops -- [ bleep ] he
ain't going to get it.
| 00:42:32 | >> Steve: We asked you on that,
the results of your lie detector
test is that you lied.
| 00:42:38 | You're not storing a 2009 --
[ applause ]
>> Steve: So I know your heart's
broken but there's no 2009
silverado waiting for you.
| 00:42:51 | >> I just want to know about my
son.
| 00:42:55 | >> Steve: Anything that you want
to say to him?
| 00:42:57 | Here's -- I'm going to give you
a chance.
| 00:42:59 | Here's your chance to look at
chris, anything you want to say
to him?
| 00:43:06 | >> Why do I have to say anything
to him?
| 00:43:09 | >> Steve: Maybe the truth.
| 00:43:11 | [ Applause ]
>> Steve: I'll tell you what, i
cannot even get to you.
| 00:43:23 | Okay.
| 00:43:23 | I can rip them up and throw them
away.
| 00:43:26 | All I'm asking of you is a
simple little thing.
| 00:43:29 | Look the man in the eye and tell
him the truth about the baby.
| 00:43:34 | >> I did tell him the truth
about the baby.
| 00:43:38 | >> Steve: Tell him the truth
right now, and I'll rip this up
if you tell him the truth.
| 00:43:45 | >> I want rich out here.
| 00:43:48 | >> Steve: Who's rich?
| 00:43:49 | >> My boyfriend.
| 00:43:50 | >> Steve: I'm not going to do
anything until he's out here.
| 00:44:00 | [ Applause ]
>> Steve: How are you doing,
rich?
| 00:44:08 | >> Doing all right.
| 00:44:09 | >> Steve: This is your
girlfriend?
| 00:44:11 | >> Yeah.
| 00:44:13 | >> Steve: You hear this story,
what's your opinion on this
story?
| 00:44:19 | >> I told her mysel think
she's lying.
| 00:44:26 | How long you have been dating --
>> no, you don't even know him.
| 00:44:32 | >> Steve: How long you have been
dating?
| 00:44:33 | >> Three months.
| 00:44:35 | >> Steve: Have you ever seen a
2009 silverado?
| 00:44:39 | >> No.
| 00:44:40 | >> Steve: Have you seen a baby
boy?
| 00:44:41 | >> No.
| 00:44:42 | >> Steve: You've been dating
this man for three months.
| 00:44:45 | You're together, and in three
months he's never seen your baby
boy?
| 00:44:50 | >> Do you know my whole story,
my background?
| 00:44:54 | Do you mow what we're going
through right now.
| 00:44:59 | >> That has nothing to do with
what we're talking about right
now.
| 00:45:02 | >> Yeah, you bet.
| 00:45:03 | That is why.
| 00:45:05 | >> Steve: Okay.
| 00:45:06 | Listen.
| 00:45:07 | Listen.
| 00:45:07 | You get a chance to redeem
yourself here, okay?
| 00:45:11 | You get a chance.
| 00:45:12 | I'm going to let you look at him
and tell him whether he has a
son or not.
| 00:45:19 | I don't want to read these
results.
| 00:45:21 | I really don't.
| 00:45:23 | Here is your chance as a decent
human being.
| 00:45:31 | You shouldn't need lie detector
results to tell a man whether he
has a son or not.
| 00:45:36 | >> Shut up!
| 00:45:37 | >> Steve: I'll tell you what,
you bring your baby and prove
that it's your baby I'll give
you 2 million bucks.
| 00:45:45 | It's time to take your stand,
when you give me answers to
today's big questions, if the
parent has the same child,
should they be allowed to see
the child.
| 00:45:56 | Dial 888994-5567 now.
| 00:48:47 | >> Steve: Is your teenage
daughter desperate to have a
baby?
| 00:48:49 | Is she convinced she's ready to
be a parent?
| 00:48:50 | Call me at 1-888-steve-07.
| 00:49:00 | >> Steve: Here is your chance as
a decent human being.
| 00:49:05 | You might have made --
>> I didn't lie.
| 00:49:08 | I told him that he doesn't have
a son, if that's what you want.
| 00:49:12 | >> Steve: I want the truth.
| 00:49:13 | I think he deserves the truth,
whether he has a son or not.
| 00:49:16 | [ Applause ]
>> Steve: The man has the right
to know if he has -- if you told
him he has a son, he has
every --
>> you heard him in my car,
didn't you?
| 00:49:32 | >> I don't know what that was.
| 00:49:36 | >> Steve: Why hasn't your new
boyfriend seen your baby?
| 00:49:40 | >> Why?
| 00:49:40 | Because I don't want my child
brought into the situation right
now.
| 00:49:45 | We do not have a stable home --
stable enough for a child.
| 00:49:51 | >> Steve: Have you ever gone
with her to the day care?
| 00:49:54 | >> No.
| 00:49:55 | >> Steve: Have you ever gone
with her to the hospital?
| 00:49:59 | >> Well, not for that reason.
| 00:50:00 | >> Steve: Three months of dating
you've never seen a baby?
| 00:50:03 | >> Never.
| 00:50:05 | >> Steve: Have you ever seen a
picture of a baby?
| 00:50:08 | >> No.
| 00:50:08 | >> Steve: Have you ever seen a
birth certificate of a baby?
| 00:50:12 | >> No.
| 00:50:13 | >> Steve: Have you ever seen a
copy the police report about the
kidnapping?
| 00:50:19 | >> No.
| 00:50:21 | >> It wasn't any of his damn
business.
| 00:50:24 | >> When I ask you about it, you
say he's in foster care.
| 00:50:27 | >> He's in temporary custody
with the day care.
| 00:50:29 | >> That's not possible.
| 00:50:31 | >> Steve: Oh, here's the
cell
phone.
| 00:50:40 | She does have a picture of a
nice truck there.
| 00:50:41 | >> Have you ever seen that truck
before?
| 00:50:44 | >> I've seen that picture.
| 00:50:46 | >> Steve: But you haven't seen
the truck.
| 00:50:50 | Whose truck is that?
| 00:50:51 | >> It's his truck.
| 00:50:52 | >> Steve: There's your truck.
| 00:50:54 | [ Applause ]
>> do you want me to sit here
and lie to you?
| 00:51:05 | >> No, I don't think anybody
wants you to lie to them?
| 00:51:12 | >> Can you just say it so we can
get on with our life.
| 00:51:16 | >> Steve: She's your girlfriend.
| 00:51:18 | I've given her the chance to dot
right thing.
| 00:51:20 | You shouldn't need lie detector
results to tell a man whether he
has a son or not.
| 00:51:25 | [ Applause ]
[ bleep ]
>> I've seen a few.
| 00:52:02 | >> Steve: Are you sure you
aren't going to tell him?
| 00:52:05 | >> He's not giving me a chance.
| 00:52:07 | >> He's not the one that needs
to give you the chance.
| 00:52:11 | >> I don't think she's going to
come out with it.
| 00:52:14 | I think you're going to have to
read the results.
| 00:52:16 | >> Will you shut up.
| 00:52:16 | >> Everybody has a right to
speak.
| 00:52:20 | >> I really don't need the
stress.
| 00:52:22 | >> Steve: Okay.
| 00:52:23 | Here's your last chance.
| 00:52:24 | I'm going to read the results.
| 00:52:26 | >> I'll tell you right now.
| 00:52:26 | [ Applause ]
>> you can give me -- I told him
right there.
| 00:52:32 | >> Yes or no.
| 00:52:36 | >> Does he want me to tell him?
| 00:52:41 | >> Steve: Okay.
| 00:52:42 | You know what, we're done
playing games.
| 00:52:45 | >> Okay.
| 00:52:45 | I'll do this.
| 00:52:46 | You don't have a son and I lied.
| 00:52:50 | >> That's something that you
shouldn't lie about.
| 00:52:53 | >> I didn't, but you know what
[ bleep ]
>> Steve: Okay.
| 00:52:58 | You know what, are you okay with
dating this person?
| 00:53:06 | I'm asking you, are you okay
dating somebody like this?
| 00:53:10 | >> Yes.
| 00:53:16 | >> Steve: Really.
| 00:53:16 | You might be in the same
situation nine months looking
for a kid.
| 00:53:21 | >> He supports me.
| 00:53:21 | >> Steve: You know what, I'm
done with you.
| 00:53:23 | I'm done with you.
| 00:53:28 | And I'll say, you know, we all
know you're lying.
| 00:53:32 | Everybody knows you're lying.
| 00:53:33 | He knows you're lying.
| 00:53:34 | He knows it.
| 00:53:36 | She nose it.
| 00:53:36 | I know it.
| 00:53:37 | They all know it.
| 00:53:37 | [ Applause ]
do you have a child fathered by
chris, you answered yes.
| 00:53:51 | Did you give birth to a child
fathered by chris in the last
year.
| 00:53:54 | You answered yes.
| 00:53:55 | Did you make up a story about
having chris' baby, you answered
no.
| 00:54:00 | Did you make up a story to get
chris back, you answered no.
| 00:54:03 | And oh, my god, I'm shocked, I'm
shocked, she did not tell the
truth!
| 00:54:10 | [ Applause ]
>> Steve: I'll tell you what,
you bring your baby and prove
that it's your baby, I'll give

| 00:54:30 | I will bring him.
| 00:54:35 | >> I'm all right with that.
| 00:54:36 | >> Sit couldn't.
| 00:54:39 | Sit down.
| 00:54:40 | Just let go of me.
| 00:54:40 | All right.
| 00:54:44 | >> Steve: I'm going to say this,
it is pathetic that you would
lie about a child to a man.
| 00:54:53 | And you're a despicable human
being for doing that.
| 00:54:58 | Shut up!
| 00:54:59 | >> Steve: You shut up.
| 00:55:01 | Are you kidding me.
| 00:55:03 | You hold it over his head, you
keep lying, lying to the very
end.
| 00:55:09 | If you don't care being with
somebody like that, I'm ashamed
of you, too.
| 00:55:21 | >>> I'm here to get my husband
back.
| 00:55:23 | We have a 15-month-old baby and
now he's with his girlfriend and
new baby.
| 00:55:27 | He's denying my child.
| 00:55:28 | >> I'm madly in love with him.
| 00:55:30 | >> He took a dna test.
| 00:55:32 | >> Steve: You are married?
| 00:55:33 | >> I am married.
| 00:55:34 | >> You had a boyfriend.
| 00:55:39 | >> Steve: Did you say that her
child was yours?
| 00:55:42 | >> You knew I was pregnant with
your baby.

baby.
| 00:57:38 | You didn't even need the lie
detector results.
| 00:57:41 | There's no baby.
| 00:57:42 | But the good thing is you're
going to be a father.
| 00:57:44 | You're going to have a real
baby.
| 00:57:46 | Have a real relationship.
| 00:57:47 | Be a really good dad.
